Rare Magazine
Rare is a lifestyle and arts magazine popular in Austin, Texas. The robust website includes distinct sections for content adapted from the print magazine and web-exclusive blog content, as well as listings for the print issues themselves. There is also a robust events listing system, randomized ad content, and integrated e-commerce for selling subscriptions and event photos. Social media integration and the flexibility to handle large amounts of differing content types are key to this site.
Design Bureau Magazine
Design Bureau Magazine is a print magazine based out of Chicago which focuses on design and the visual arts. The website features articles adapted from the magazine and online exclusive articles. In addition to online content, the site promotes the print version and has a heavy reader-engagement component, including advanced commenting and social media integration.
New American Luxury Magazine
New American Luxury is an example of several magazines run by Guerrero Howe publishing for which I created websites. Each of the Guerrero Howe sites is highly focused on presenting the content in an organized and easy to read manner. A table of contents view parses the articles from each magazine issue into departmental sub-sections.
Electrico Presents
The Electric Company Presents is an Austin events production and promotion company. The website centers on listings and information about events, both past and present. The management system is highly flexible and allows each event to be listed in a time-aware manner for automatically sorting between past and future events.
The site also includes a gallery of event videos, a gallery of event posters, company information, and contact information.

Wheco Crane Repair
WHECO Corporation is a worldwide leader in crane and capital equipment repair and restoration. The comprehensive website is content rich and includes a blog, a project portfolio, numerous content pages, RFP forms, and a great deal more. Despite the complexity of the site, great care was taken to craft a user-friendly backend interface.

Lindsey Eden Turner
Lindsey Eden Turner’s site is a sleek, minimalist design portfolio showcasing excellent work for a number of clients. As well as a homepage which directs users to a variety of featured projects, the site features categorized listings, flipbook style pagination, and an infinite-scroll approach to presenting images for each project.

Les McLain – Writer
This is the personal portfolio website of Les McLain, a copywriter and editor. Because it is a personal site, it is designed to be eye-catching, memorable, and to show a bit of her personality. Because the content is quite text-heavy, typography, balance, and visual cleanliness are paramount.
Rust+Moth
Rust+Moth is a journal of poetry and the arts with both a print version and a heavy online presence. The primary function of the website is to display and navigate the issues of the journal. Advanced custom tagging and rollover animations make finding an issue and navigating to either an online version or a shop page for print issues a breeze.
The other most important functions of the site is to facilitate the gathering of submissions, administration of contests, and to provide information about the journal.
